Terms of use

These terms apply when you use CV Sorted, a trading name of KiesSlim (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or paying, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What the service is

CV Sorted helps you build a CV by answering questions, preview it, and download it as a PDF and a Word file. It is a writing and layout tool. We do not guarantee that a CV will get you an interview or a job.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's permission.
  • Give an email address you can read, and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time from your Account page.

Your CV and content

Your CV is yours. You promise that what you put in it is true and that you have the right to use it. We use your content only to run the service for you, as explained in our privacy policy.

Paying and what you get

  • Building and previewing your CV is free.
  • You pay to download your CV as a PDF and a Word file. The price is R79, shown before you pay.
  • After you pay, you can edit your CV for 90 days, and download it as often as you like.
  • When the 90 days end, you keep the right to download your last version. To edit again, you pay again.
  • Prices are in South African rand (ZAR). Payments are handled by PayFast.

Refunds

You can see your finished CV in full before you pay, so we do not give refunds for a change of mind. If something goes wrong on our side, we will put it right. See our refund policy.

Using the service properly

Do not use the service to break the law, to put false or misleading information in a CV, to attack or overload the site, or to access anyone else's account or information.

Availability and changes

We try to keep the service running, but it may sometimes be unavailable. We may improve or change features. If we make a change that matters to what you paid for, we will tell you.

Our responsibility

We take care to provide the service properly. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss that comes from you relying on a CV to get a particular result, or from things outside our control. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under South African consumer law.
